Hysterical, Ian. And, since I’m here, I own plenty of John Williams myself. Dude is da bomb. Maybe not Beethoven or Mozart, but right up there with the best of the others.

Writer Dad: I am such a dork for classical music. My soul mate, not so much. But we both love a good ballet, and we’ve got an opera (Grapes of Wrath) coming up in November here in Pittsburgh. It should be an interesting, modern one.

Part of the reason I like John Williams is that he shows that modern composers can be as good as classical ones, and that the music can be just as memorable, if not more so for our time.
